This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Artist's Description

Reproduction of a 1907 oil-on-canvas work by pioneering Swedish abstract painter Hilm af Klint. These and other paintings in her Paintings for the Temple series of 1906-1915 were largely overlooked by the art world until fairly recently, and have prompted some debate over who exactly was the first 'abstract painter'. If he was alive, ardent self-promoter Wassily Kandinsky would doubtless have insisted he was (first 'abstract' Kandinsky dates to 1911). Personally, my money's on Klint.
